ASIA TRIP 2024 – HONG KONG PT.2 – JULY 6
It’s been too long since the day I took these photos and the day I’m writing this to remember much about the day. So instead of writing, I’ll just be displaying some photos from the day. I didn’t take too many because I do remember we spent a good amount of time with family this day.
He wasn’t too sure about me.
One of the many small takeout restaurants on the Yat Tung Estate and Hong Kong Market.
A walking path on one side.
And a water feature on the other. The vivid colors against the lush foliage are what captured my attention.
Many of the restaurants display their food at the entrance trying to entice the potential customers.
The 40 story buildings block out most of the evening sunlight, however, it seems this bench was placed here with the sunlight in mind.
The beauty in the contrast between the geometry of the man-made objects and the organic shapes in nature always caught my attention.
Quite the difference from Tokyo.
Decorative patriotism, just as a reminder I assume.
Japan isn’t the only place with lots of beautiful potted plants.
The graffiti lies below the surface of Hong Kong.
Evening sun.
Between the buildings.
